upPE-T, PRESERVE and UPLIFT organised on 27th April 2022 the online webinar – ‘STANDARDIZATION IN PLASTICS AND CIRCULAR ECONOMY, Three European projects working in the framework of standardization’.

The three initiatives are EU-funded projects under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme.

The aim of this event was to show how standardisation can support valorising research and innovation (R&I) results.

The workshop was divided into three parts: during the first one, the workshop framed the standardization in Europe and how European R&I projects can use standardisation as a successful conduit to valorise their results.

The second part the CEN-CENELEC Workshop Agreements (CWAs) as well as the challenges of standardization in circular economy were presented, whilst an open discussion was conducted regarding the importance of standardization in circular economy.
