International PhD summerschool

PhD students, who are part of the upPE-T research teams, attended the International PhD summerschool, from August 22nd to 26th 2022, which was organized by Aalborg University, coordinator of the H2020 upLIFT sister project.

The PhD students from different Universities across Europe gathered to work on Biotechnological solutions for a sustainable plastic sector, focusing on the biotechnological recycling of plasticwaste providing a general overview of the whole valuechain.

Within this summer school program, the 3 sister European projects upLIFT , PRESERVE H2020 and upPE-T presented their work in an organized workshop where students created and pitched their own plastic biorefinery.
