8th International Conference on Bio-based and Biodegradable Polymers

CETEC and CETECBIO gave a presentation and presented two posters in the 8th International Conference on Bio-based and Biodegradable Polymers (BIOPOL2022) that took place in the University of Alicante  on 14-16 November 2022.
Sergio Benitez from CETEC gave a presentation on "Green extraction and characterization of 3-HV enriched PHBV", in which he presented the properties  of HV-enriched PHBV obtained in upPE-T project (WP4) and showed two posters:

• Use of packaging waste and confectionary industry waste for bioplastic production using haloarchaeas as cell factories
• Upcycling of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) wastes to generate biodegradable bioplastics for food and drink packaging
